tested to accept or reject the assumption
on the anti-varicose vein thrombotic effect
of Allium schoenoprasum (chives) leaf
extract on ferric chloride on male
Sprague Dawley rats.

The experimental procedure will be
divided into four stages. The first stage
will be the gathering of materials. The
second stage will be the extraction of
Citrus maxima (Pomelo) and Theobroma
cacao (cocoa). The third stage will be the
acquisition of laboratory rats, while the
fourth stage will be the Determining the
dosage of extraction.
The Citrus maxima (Pomelo) and
Theobroma cacao (cocoa) will be bought
in Tagaytay specifically, in Mahogany
Market. The mortar and pestle will be
needed for the pulverization of
Theobroma cacao (cocoa). The juicer for
the extraction of Citrus maxima (pomelo).
Measuring cups and table spoons to
measure the dosage of Citrus maxima
(pomelo) and Theobroma cacao
(cocoa) .The Citrus maxima (pomelo) will
go to the process of extraction, using a
juicer and mortar and pestle will be
needed for the pulverization of
Theobroma cacao (cocoa). The two
extracts will be mixed and will be put in a
closed small container. Three Sprague
Dawley rats will be bought in Food and
Drug Administration Philippines (FDA)
Alabang, Philippines. Determining the
tannin content of Cocoa. In order to
determine the tannin content of the
Theobroma cacao (cocoa), use Ferric
Chloride (FeCl3) test, A blue or green
color indicates the presence of tannins
(Evans, 1989). The three Sprague-
Dawley rats must determine the
concentration of the combination of fruit
extract from the Citrus maxima (pomelo)
and filtered extract from Theobroma
 cacao (cocoa). The first rat will be
receiving 1.5 ml of the extract, the
second rat will be receiving 3.5 ml and
the third rat will be receiving 4 ml.

N. The extract of Citrus maxima
(pomelo) and Theobroma cacao (cocoa)
will be used in the study to determine the
different dosage from androgenetic
alopecia in Sprague-Dawley rats. The
extracts should exhibit its acceptability to
treat androgenetic alopecia. The extract
potential will be evaluated by the
presence of tannins of the cocoa. The t-
test will be the one used with the 0.05
level of significance to calculate the
effectiveness of the variables. The t-test
will be the basis and the one to know the
significance of the tannins in this study.
