What to do when an
X-Smart is blocked?

 Trouble shoot Guide.

Chapter 1 Dispenser software does not start.

Chapter 2 Error table blocked by valve.
Chapter 3 Turntable.
Chapter 4 Pump.
Chapter 1: Dispenser software does not start

1. Check emergency switch on X-Smart.

2. Two beeps by startup from MDU on the X-Smart.
3. Check com port settings. (USB Serial Port)
4. Installed the right USB to serialdriver?
5. Installed the IDD driver.(program)?
Chapter 2: Table blocked by valve.

Remove can sensor plate. Unscrew two T20 screws.

Check valve position, must be horizontal.

Check canister to valve position

Solution for valve error.

Install FFmMaintenance from version 1.6.5072.15551 or higher.(possibility to move

motors without initialization)
Close all dispens software and open FFmMaintenance.
For installation and use of this program, please refer to manual FFmMaintenance.

In the lower left corner you must see that there is connection with the X-Smart.
 In the menu Dispenser functions, we can set the Valve in 3 positions.
Open 1 Open 2 Valve Init / Close home position

If necessary you can also use 1 and 2 to set the valve in a position.

When the valve is in the Home position it is not possible to move

the pump.
When you set the valve on Open 2 place a can under the canister.
in this position any present collorant will be dispensed.
 Chapter 3 Turntable.

Make sure that the valve is in the home position.

To get the table lined up with the pump use Dispenser / Turntable Init.
It is also possible to move the table with the toggle buttons Table Fast/Table Slow.

Move to can only be used after an Dispenser initialization.

Chapter 4: Pump is blocked.

The pump is blocked during dispense.

Close the dispense software and restart the software, when you get the
error IDD initalization failure you have to open FFmMaintenance.
 FFmMaintenance Stepper functions.

Without doing an Init you can control the pump, set a value in the
box Speed and set a value in the box Steps

Before using Pump Down/Up first set the valve in the right position! (Open1
Open 2 page 6)
Stepper Initthe stepper will try to get on the home position.
Pump down the pump will move to his home position, speed 10 + 500 steps.
Pump Up the pump will fill the tube step by step, speed 10 + 500 steps.
Everytime that you click up/down the pump will move with these values.
