The Autonomic Nervous System

Tha autonomic nervous system is the automatic component of the nervous system. It
regulated involuntery action of the body such as cardiac and smooth muscle action and the
functional of glands. Unlike spinal in cranial nerve the autonomic nervous system consist of
motoric pathways involving two neuron that communicated within a single ganglia. As an
impuls travels all along the autonomic nervous system. The first nerve enters the ganglia wear
synapsis with the second nerve. The first nerve is called pre ganglionic and the second is
called post ganglionic. The autonomic nervous system is divided into sympathetic and
parasympathetic pathways. Sympathetic illustrated on this chart in red, produce what is
commonly will product as a fight or flight response. Their action prepares the body for intens
and immediate physicallic surgeon in emergency. Parasympathetic pathways illustrated on
this chart in blue work opposite of the sympathetic stimulations returning the body to normal
