STATEMENT ONE: Students should be at least 13 years of age to use social media

sites such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram.

9/10. I completely agree that the minimum age to be on any kind of social media is
probably thirteen, maybe with a few exceptions.

STATEMENT TWO: Parents should have knowledge of any social media site their
children use, including access to the username and password.

1/10. Absolutely not. Their parent(s) could completely ruin their online appearance, and
their reputation.

STATEMENT THREE: A social media contract is a good way for parents to set
guidelines for social media use by their children.

4/10. Im kinda on the fence about this one. In certain situations, yes it could be used to
a great extent. In others, no, it would do a great deal of damage to how much freedom
the parents child has.
