Jollibee celebrated the joy of love in all its forms with different real-life Jollibee
stories in Kwentong Jollibee Valentine Series, a three-part video series. The first
installment entitled Vow is a story about a guy who's willing to make the one he loves
happy without expecting anything in return. This short video highlights the power of
unconditional love, a kind of affection without any limitations nor conditions, and on how
love, at times, isn't a two-way road.

This story is presented in a slow, dramatic manner that sets the mood of the tale
to something nostalgic and deeply striking, which is just appropriate because the male
protagonist didn't end up with his bestfriend and proceeded to be the best man of her
wedding. It is indeed a dramatic ending to a beautiful relationship. The story suggests
that love has different forms, and to love truly is to love without any expectations of
reciprocations. The story was short, leaving a lot of questions into mind, did he even
professed his feelings? Did she had a slightest hint of what his bestfriend is feeling? All
this questions unanswered but as the video ended, all it did was inspire me, and remind
me that love doesn't always end up with the best results but it is still the best thing we
do.

The story is short and sweet but has a lot of message embedded within. I still
have my questions but that's what makes the story mysterious and powerful, the
interpretations that different people have, without having the certainty of knowing what
really happened. The tale highlights the power of unconditional love, on how it does not
fade, reciprocated or not.
