Summary of Strong Preferences:

Based on the BE Learning-Style Strengths I am strong in hand on activities. I am more tactual

learner meaning I learn better when I am working with my hands and being able to make use of

small-motor skills. I have a preference of learning new and difficult information by doing

activities that make use of my large motor skills, rather than sitting and listening or reading. I

would much rather my learning experiences be through communication with others, and talking

things out. I have a preference for learning new material when you can express myself to others

or aloud to myself. Talking things through helps me understand and process things better than

readings things on a piece of paper.

My Learning Strategies:

I plan on using my hands on learning strength to write down everything to remember and learn

what I need to. I will take notes as my teachers are talking that way I am keeping my hands

active while I am learning. I will take in learning new material by asking questions that I dont

understand rather than sitting and listening to everyone talk. I will ask my peers what their

thoughts are on our assignments so I am able to learn a different perspective on things. I will

study in a small group so I know that I am understanding the material. I will quiz other peers on

things about the topic we are discussing in class so I am able to help them understand it while I

am retaining the information myself.
