My Classroom
I put my students in circle desk to help encourage discussion and working
together
I put my desk on the wall of the room so that I would have a good visual over
my whole classroom
My meeting rug would have numbers on it so that each student had a specific
spot to sit and there would be no confusion over where everyone sits
Every so often I would rotate my students seats so they could work with other
students and hear different ideas
I keep storage on the sides of my desk for easy access to where my students
are still in my view of hearing them and where I am not gone looking for
something leaving them alone for a long time
On each circle desk I would have a container in the middle with all of the
supplies that my students would need for the day's activities
