PRDH No: 1132/11/67/1617/47369 dt: 8/3/17 DIRECTORATE OF ELEMENTARY EDUCATION HARYANA PANCHKULA PUBLIC NOTICE ADMISSIONS IN CLASS 1ST UNDER RTEACT-2009 AND CLASSES 2ND TO 8TH UNDER RULE 134-A It is for the information of General Public and Private Recognized Schools in Haryana State that in accordance to RTE Act, 2009 and Rule 134-A of the Haryana School Education Rules, 2003 amended in 2013, all Private Recognized Schools are required to reserve 25% seats for class 1st under RTE Act 2009 for the children belonging to weaker sections and disadvantaged groups. 10% seats for classes 2nd to 8th under Rule 134-A of the aforesaid rules for the admission of students belonging to Economically Weaker sections of Society and Below Poverty Line (BPL) Category. In case of schools built or situated on HUDA land, this reservation would be up to 20%. All Private recognized schools running in Haryana State are hereby directed to display information regarding availability of seats/admissions etc. of their respective schools on their school website and also place the same on the School Notice Boards for Public view by 20.03.2017. List of such reserved seats should also be sent to the District Elementary Education Officer of their District.
