Alfred Taylor lives in Manchester, in the north of England. He is an engineer.

He is married to Mary Taylor. She works in a bookshop. Mary likes books and

reading. She is from Brighton, a town in the south-east of England. They love the

sun, swimming in the sea and travelling with their three children. Their names are

John (6), Peter (13) and Rose (14). They were born in Manchester.

Last summer they travelled to Italy by plane. There they rented a car and toured

Italy for three weeks. They stayed in small hotels. They visited some famous towns:

Milan, Rome, Pisa, Venice... They saw interesting places, took lots of beautiful photos

and talked to lots of people. They always ate Italian food. They ate pizza in Rome and

bought delicious ice cream in Florence. They swam in the Adriatic Sea. In Venice they

drank coffee with milk and listened to music. When they came back home they were

tired, but very happy.
