ABOUT THE TEAM.
- Founded in February 2015 by four
engineers and designers of aerospace
products visionary of the Technical
University of Munich.
- Financed by the European Space
Agency (ESA).
- The Lilium jet has been developed by a
team over 35 engineers, designers and
pioneers around the world.
DEVELOPMENT
- They have constructed seven small-
scale models of the Lilium Jet.
- Each one has been improved in
concept, technology and design.
The three models more important are:
1) Hexa:
- First Electric VTOL airplane.

- It has been made by agglomerated
wood and aluminum foil.
2) Dragon:
- It is printed in 3D.
- It is a prototype for all software testing.
3) Falcon
- Made of carbon fiber.
- It has 36 motors a computer on board.
HOW IT FLIES?
- Lifted vertically by 36 electric ducted fan
engines.
- Once up, it flies like a normal aircraft.
- It can make turns in any flight status.
- It is comfortable for travel.
WHAT MAKES IT SO SAFE?
- Can fail any component and the aircraft
will always be able to do an automatic
vertical landing.
- Easy to drive like an electric car.
- It has a protection system.
