To Whom It May Concern,

Karoline Saelee has asked me to write a letter of recommendation and I accepted to do so

without a second thought. It has been a pleasure being Karolines counselor for the last
4 years at El Capitan High School. Karoline is very friendly by nature with a good sense
of humor.

Karoline is very intelligent, respectful, honest and organized. She has excellent social
skills. She is great at communicating with others and is outgoing. Another great quality
that she possesses is her sense of community. She sees the importance of supporting
Merced and has volunteered at the Boys and Girl's Club and Merced County Zoo. She is
always determined and hardworking when it comes to achieving her goals. Her hard
work and determination is very evident when you see what she has accomplished
academically. She continues to take academic classes as a senior and challenges herself
daily, when it is expected to take it easy. Last year Karoline pushed herself second
semester and earned a 3.0 GPA at end of semester and this year when most senior would
take a shortened day she continues to take academic classes.

One of the most endearing things about Karoline is her ability to take responsibility for
her education and goals. Karoline does not wait for things to happen she makes them
happen. She would frequently come to my office and advocate for herself. This will help
her in pursuing her career in computer science. I have no doubt in my mind that she will
reach this with the kind of drive and determination that she has.

Karolines moral character is above reproach. She exemplifies the values of honesty,
integrity and perseverance. She is a well-rounded person with the ability to perform well
in a wide variety of occupations. I strongly recommend Karoline for any employment or
college that she seeks.
