DOST PAGASA Weather Report (February 25, 2017 update)

Good morning! This is Tanya!

For our weather update today we have two weather systems affecting our country. Those
are:

the Easterlies that continue to affect the eastern section of southern Luzon, of Visayas
and of Mindanao, and
the northeast monsoon (or amihan) that still affects the northern and central Luson.

For our weather forecast:

in Mindanao we will have light to moderate rainshowers in the regions of Caraga and
Davao while the rest of Mindanao will continue to experience good weather, although
there is a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

In Luzon, we will continue to experience light to moderate rain, thunderstorms in the Bicol
region, and light rain in the regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera. Metro Manila and a
large part of Luzon will continue to enjoy good weather with a few local thunderstorms.
Visayas will have a good weather overall with a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

In Metro Manila:
Saturday: Sun and clouds mixed. High 31C. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 km/h. In the evening
there will be a few clouds. Low 24C. Winds light and variable.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. High 32C. Winds SE at 10 to 15 km/h. In the evening its mostly
clear skies. Low 23C. Winds light and variable.
Monday: Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High 32C. Winds E at 10 to 15 km/h.
