We are certainly grateful for the work Ms. Bettina McKinney is doing in helping our school be more data- driven. She has worked diligently in sharing with teachers best practices in the following areas: ‘© Backward design planning Retrieving data through different test banks (STAARMaker, Measuring Up Live, etc.) ‘© Tracking scholar data including scholars taking ownership of their learning with student trackers * Responding to data by appropriately grouping scholars for intervention Asa result, our campus has improved in using data to drive their instruction. Qualitatively, teachers are delivering lessons according to needs of their scholars based on data and quantitatively our scholars have made significant growth on our most recent snapshot tests. We are confident that we will meet state accountability this year due to the efforts of Ms. McKinney and also our other Career Pathway Lead Teachers we have on campus.
