COM 1145 Animation

Cel Animation: Each individual frame is drawn, and they are shown in quick
succession. The frames being shown quickly creates the illusion of
movement.
Stop Motion: A scene is constructed and then a picture is taken of it. The
scene is moved slightly and another picture is taken from the same angle.
This process is repeated until all frames have been made. The frames are
then shown in quick succession making the illusion of movement.
Claymation: Stop motion, but with clay.
