Answers to Questions on Slides:

1. Discussion on obesity with Professor Phillip James, the man who lead
the International Obesity Task Force. A force which got the World
Health Organization to discuss for the first time, the issue of the
ever-growing numbers of obese people in the developing world.

2. In order to discuss the World Health Organizations delay in failing to


see the international relevance of obesity, the presenter, Claire
Bowes, interviewed Professor James, the man who lead the IOTF and
created a report illustrating how a number of third-world countries
have shockingly unhealthy diets.

3. The only music present is the intro and outro, letting the listener
know this is a program created by the BBC. In terms of special
effects, dialogue, is overlapped in one occasion to emphasis how
many people Professor James addressed as having an unhealthy,
fatty diet.

4. The interview was conducted with Professor Phillip James who in


himself, was the main source of information in regards to the
content of the program. Claire Bowes, did however utilize the World
Health Organization and their reports as a source fairly regularly as
once again, it was part of the main talking point of the program.
