Enclosed is a status update for cur December 11, 2012 inspections which downgraded the condition rating ofthe superstructure futher. A Condition Rating "3 (serious) was assigned lo the steel arch, tloorbeams, columns & bracing. A reduced inspection frequency of 12 months wit be asigned to the Special Inspection on th> steel ‘erches, leotbeams, coumns and bracing. Alemative access mathod(s wilhave fo be determined. The curent load rating analysis was pertorned on Oclober 4, 2011. Ths anahss included the section loss onthe slee arches and flootbeams from the December 0, 2010 inpection tepot The following is an update on the work is required for this stucture in accordance with the December 11,2012 Routine, Fraciuxe Citical& Special Inspections. 1. Replace the biuminous concrete wearing sutace. The wearing surface exhibits longtucinal and lransverse craceng, crack width up fo approximately 3 inches. Pavement raveing andi ruling UP Jo 1 Ieinches deep. Aso, map cracking, po! holes and biluminous concrete patched areas, 2. Replace the concrete headers with compresion seal with asphaliic plug expansion joins. The ‘compression sedi is cracked, tom and loose and separated from the concrete header. The Concrete header is spailed 6 Inches wide by | inches deep. The aciNe leakage irom these joins s deteriorating the steel Flocrbeam Nos. §& 8, columns and arches. 8. Repair Steel Arch Beatings (Span No. 4)~ The anchor nuts exhibits yp 40 100 percent section loss, The floctbeam and longitudinal si bearings exhibis heavy laminated rust and pock rust between plates.
