The Saint Clair County Health Department has just reacquired the
Family Planning program for Title X. In order to receive federal grants
for this program, it is mandatory to have an advisory council of 5 to 9
volunteers who meet 2 or 3 times annually. We are looking for
participants that are knowledgeable and are reflective of the
population who are in need of resources for reproductive health, and
we believe that you or your organization have certain expertise or skills
that would be ideal for the Family Planning Advisory Council.

Being a volunteer on this council will open up new opportunities to

impact and give insight on what is happening within the community.
The key priorities of this council are: creating a recognizable identity
that advocates for family planning within St. Clair County, establishing
relationships with local and national networks, and educating the
public of contraception and abstinence based practices.
