INTRODUCTION

At first, we have been divided into a group of three or four in order to complete
the task given. There is two assignment that had been assign to all group which
required commitment among members. The first assignment was about daily
maximum temperature for five weather stations in Peninsular Malaysia. Second
assignment was to determine the relationship between radioactive gold and the
length of time it retain in a persons body. Microsoft Excel are necessary in both
assignment which all the data presented in form of table chart graph and other.
Most of topic learn regarding statistics are important in order to perform
statistical data collected in Excel. One of the most important topic that we need
to apply in order to complete our task are Analysis of Variance (Anova) and
Simple Linear Regression and Correlation. Anova is a procedure in which the
total variation in a measured response is partitioned into components that can be
attributed to recognizable sources of variation. These individual components are
useful in testing pertinent hypothesis. The total variability of the data,

Regression analysis generally models the relationship between one or more

response, variables and one or more predictor variables.

The most priority parameter that need to be included in presenting the data are
mode, mean, median, range, variance, standard deviation, etc. Mode, mean,
median can be categorized as central tendency and range, variance, standard
deviation as dispersion.
