Theory Paper Reflection

Like the other theory paper, I found the theories I talked in my paper were my favorites

because they were the most interesting to me. I chose the attachment theory and social learning

theory. The attachment theory says that creating an attachment is something that is a natural

instinct; something we do not have to learn. The social learning theory suggests that a persons

behaviors, negative or positive, stems from their reinforcements. Learning these theories and

actually being able to write about it and be required to research them actually helped me learn

and understand the theories better rather than solemnly reading about it out of a book. It allowed

me to apply my understandings of the theories to case analysis assignments, discussion boards,

and other papers. Now I feel as though I will be able to recognize the use of those theories within

practice.
