I am applying for a junior high school science teaching position. Currently, I am finishing my
teaching certification in 4-8 grade science at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth, Texas.

I am interested in applying for this position because I am enthusiastic about teaching middle
school students. They need a teacher who is positive and encouraging, and someone who will
provide them with hands-on learning experiences that push them to reach new goals. My
teaching experiences have prepared me to be this type of teacher.
