They create their own fe map, considering their personal aspirations financial goals and milestones, Session two: Interviewing with style Students are Introduced tothe steps involved in starting to earn They observe and evaluate successful interviews. "Next they review the key features ofa pay slip and a bank paying: sp. Session Three: Get Spending Students learn about budgeting and spending wisely. They gain an understanding ofthe basis of banking, in particular the different payment types (excluding credit) ways to protect their money, and the need to analyze a bank statement. Session Four: Consumer Rights and Responsibilities Students are introduced to consumer rights and responsibilities. Working in groups they review consumer dlemmas ‘of case study characters and act as agony uncle to provide written response. Session Five janaging Credit & Debt Students are introduced to the concepts of credit, debt and interest. Through acard game, students recognize the need to manage debt, whilst identifying some of the benefits, pitfalls and causes of taking out credit Session sie Get Saving. ‘Students are introduced to the concepts of financial planning. Through case study characters, they choose between saving and investment options.
