This progress report is prepared as per company reporting schedule for projects for Project
Acturus for the abovementioned timeframe. Project Acturus is focusing on working prototype of
perimeter defense projectile-based weapon. The tentative completion date for the project is Q3, 2018.
The project deliverables are working prototypes and modules for a modular mobile
communications device. The commencement date of the project was in October 2015.

WORK COMPLETED

The following are the project phases that have been completed within the project scheduling:

1. Testing and Selection of materials for barrel and projectile. After run through several testing of
different materials, reinforced ceramic was decided to use as material of barrel and
Tungsten head as the material of projectile.
2. In addition, the existing firing mechanism was modified to suite the new barrel and projectile. The
weapon features has been increases and improved.

WORK IN PROGRESS
1. Design of active cooling mechanism for barrel. This work requires more times to
complete as the cooling mechanism had to go through a lot of testing.
2. Design of projectile used for the weapon. The design will take a short time to complete as
the projectile material had been decided.

WORK TO BE DONE
1. Programming of the fire-control system. The programing phase will improve the weapon accuracy
and some live fire testing will carry out in order to adjust the accuracy of the system.
2. Selection of target acquisition system for weapon. The selection would allow the weapon more
precise and accurate.

WORK NOT COMPLETED

1. There is slight delay in selection of materials for the body weapon due to the availability samples
from suppliers. In general, the delay would not affect overall schedule.

On the overall, the project is progressing as per scheduling and is still on route for demonstration
