1. TERMS OF REFERENCE

This report was commissioned by the Head of Department of Atout France, Mr.
Dupont. It is base on of the changes in the arrivals of tourist to the French
Capital City after the terrorist attacks outside the State of France in Saint-Denis
and the Bataclan Theatre. The report was to be submitted by 4 th April together
with a firm recommendation.

2. PROCEDURE

Information for the report was gathered from fallowing sources:

Statistics from the Paris Observatory convention Bureau

Surveys and questionnaire resolved from the main airports and railway
stations in Paris.

3. FINDINGS

In the table, we observe that Germany is the first country that has reduced its
numbers of visitors to France, followed by Spain and Belgium. Due to terrorist
attacks outside the State of France.

Even though the percentage of English tourists are less than German, Spanish
and Belgians tourists. The number of the English tourists are the most
representative in France, because, although the percentage of people is less
than other countries, the figures of people are more significant that other
countries.
In 2014 inbound tourism was in descending order: United Kingdom, Spain and
Germany, while the first three inbound tourism in 2015 and 2016 were United
Kingdom, Germany and Spain.

4. CONCLUSIONS

This report offers an evaluation of changes in the arrivals of tourist to the

French Capital City after terrorist attacks. The results of tourist arrivals in 2016
have decreasing, and we can see as we are recovering the figures of 2014.The
dropping affects all tourists more sensible to security thematic.

5. RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended to invest in security and launch advertising campaign by

clear the brand of France like a security country and
