To whom this may concern:

I am please to write this letter on behalf of Melissa Mendoza. Melissa has attended
NOVA Academy Early College High School for 4 years. I have had the pleasure of having Melis-
sa as my student for this past year.

This year, in my Government and Economics classes she has exhibited leadership skills
while working in group projects. Her study skills and work habits have greatly improved. She
comes in early and stays after school to get additional support when necessary Melissa is not
afraid to ask for help when she needs it.

As a person, Melissa is kind, generous, and hardworking. When her peers need help, she does her
best to explain concepts to them and help in any way she knows how. Often times when her peer
are too afraid to ask questions, she will ask the questions for her peers, as to not embarrass them.

I am confident that Melissa will make a great addition to any organization. I am very proud of
her perseverance and dedication to excellence.
