Leadership considerations:

1-When working with people with dementia, our goal is to help them feel more engage with life,
decrease the anxiety and irritability that the disease may bring, and encourage self-expression,
self-esteem and confidence. We need to provide support by assisting participants in moving their
hands and fingers.

2-When working with people with autism, it is important to teach them how to think socially and
interact successfully with others. This activity will help individuals on the autism spectrum
establish connections with others by developing appropriate social scripts and routines, and by
supporting them to interact with others on a daily basis. This will assist social and emotional
development which is critical for all people.
