The test meter was mounted with the plane of its diffuser vertical and normal to the direction of measurement. The test meter head was illuminated normally by the luminous intensity working standard lamp. The distance between the working standard lamp and the test meter was adjusted to give the test meter readings as recorded. The calibration was carried out using the following working standards traceable to national reference standards maintained at the National Metrology Centre: 1) Luminous intensity working standard lamp operated at a colour temperature of 2856 K (serial no. 0s01) Results of Calibration The results of calibration are shown on table below. The expanded uncertainty of measurement is 1.4 %, estimated at a level of confidence of approximately 95 % with a coverage factor k = 2. ‘The user should determine the suitability of this instrument for its intended use. ‘The actual recalibration interval should be determined based on the user's requirements.
