I pray that this Lenten, Journey has found you well and being spiritually renewed. Also, I pray that the services of Reaffirmation of Baptism, Healing, Peace and Unity, Meditational Stations of the Cross, and Balm Sunday Services weré helpful in experiencing the mysteries of our'Lord, Jesus Christ. As Holy Week - approaches it is time to center ourselves in the Passion of our Lord. Hear his Words, follow in his footsteps, and see the amazing power of God's work in the Resurrection. Task that both churches please refrain from any council meetings or. activities during Holy Week other than that of the spiritual journey. Maundy Thursday - service at St. James at 6:00 p.m. Good Friday - at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 7:00 p.m. Holy Saturday ~ Reflective Day of Prayer ‘The Resurrection of our Lord Sunday ~ Christ the King Lutheran Church at 9:00 a.m. and St. James Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. Turge you again to center yourself in the Holy Scriptures, prayer, and meditation on the Passion of our Lord, Nothing else as faras activities should supersede the sacred time of this week A final note, I want to recognize that in March, we have lost three of our sisters In Christ between the two families of Christ the, King and St. James Lutheran Church. Please pray for the healing power of God and to remember the promise of the Resurrection that awaits them as the saints in light. Food Pantry ‘The Food Pantry was held on January 24th with 138 familes served and 8 new clients. in February the Food Pantry served 128 families with 3. new clients. In March the Food Pantry served 146 families with 16 new cents, ‘The next Food Panty willbe held on Tuesday, Apri 25th at 10:00 a.m THANK YOU...To those who help with the Food Pantry, and to all those who helped with Cabelas pick-up day. Gabriel Project ‘The Gabriel project provides immediate assistance to mothers and babies in our area with diapers, wipes, clothing, beds, etc. They are always in need of diapers, (all sizes) but especially size 3, 4, and 5, aby oll, wipes, baby shampoo, rash ointment, thermometers, onesies, crib sheets, (gently used), bottles, infant shoes and socks. 72 families with babies were helped in January, 68 In February and 5 in March. Sharing the Blues. Giving your gently used jeans could mean alot to someone who has lost everything. Please remember this ministry when you're at Walmart, ‘Sears, or any other department store and dont forget to buy @ package of new athletic socks.
