Re: Jaymi Reddout
To Whom It May Concern:
Jaymi Reddout was an elementary teaching intern in Granite School
District for the 2016-17 school year. | had the privilege of serving as Jaymi's,
intern supervisor during that time. | was also her instructor for several
undergraduate courses during this period. This recommendation is based on my
extensive experience with Ms. Reddout.
Jaymi has developed her skills and is an excellent teacher. Ms. Reddout
is solid in classroom management and runs an effective learning environment
Many of her strategies have become so automatic that she creates a very
respectful and comfortable atmosphere. Coupled with these organizational
strategies is Jaymi's wonderful rapport with students. | have observed how her
second grade students connect with her and follow her directions easily. | also
appreciated how appropriate Jaymi was in her approach to teaching 7-8 year-
olds. There is always an atmosphere of mutual respect.
Jaymi is a hard worker. Throughout our year of interaction, Jaymi has
never failed to complete requirements that | have given her. She is very
reflective and asks very solid questions to analyze every situation. Jaymi
Reddout is such a positive person and it is always uplifting to be in her presence.
Because of this, she is an excellent member of the team and works well with
other individuals to accomplish their goals. This year she has also exhibited
excellent skills for working with parents.
It has been a great pleasure to assist Jaymi Reddout in developing her
skills as an elementary teacher. | consider Ms. Reddout a solid teacher with
exceptional skills, many beyond the expected level of a first year teacher. | give
her my highest recommendation
Sincerely,
