Dear Sir,

With reference to following plates testing in NABL Lab at Raipur for LHB KIT (J-
7116), our observations after reviewing the test reports are as follow: -

1 5mm thk. (Specification- X5CrNi 1810) & Heat No 11600178 : :-

Nickel composition 8.50 -10.50 is observed as 8.11. Fail in Chemical

Test & Tensile Test meet the requirement. Hence Not accepted.

2 8 mm thk. (Specification- S355J2G3/ ST52-3) & Heat No A62193 :-

Nickel composition 8.50 -10.50 is observed as 8.11. Fail in Chemical

Test & Tensile Test meet the requirement. Hence Not accepted.

3 10 mm thk. (Specification- S355J2G3/ ST52-3) & Heat No A62193 :-

Nickel composition 8.50 -10.50 is observed as 8.11. Fail in Chemical

Test & Tensile Test meet the requirement. Hence Not accepted.

4 20 mm thk. (Specification- S355J2w+N) & Heat No A62193

1 Heat No. 240731 : All Chemical, Tensile & Impact values are meeting the
requirement of specification EN 10025-5 2004 & hence accepted.
2 Heat No. 240729 : Yield strength in Tensile test is observed beyond the
specified limits . AS per NABL test report YS value is 351.134 MPa in place
of actual requirement is 355 MPa as per specification EN 10025-5 2004.
Hence Not-Acceptable.

as 240729 is being attached herewith for your ready reference.

Also please note that as per NABL Lab. Test reports , 9 nos. of plates of
12 mm thickness are acceptable & 2 Nos. plates having Heat No.
240729 are rejected.
