Natural Emergency Preparation Event held by Rep. Walters


Natural Disaster Preparedness Town Hall Event held at Santiago Canyon College

District of Columbia Rep. Mimi Walters (CA-45) announced today she will hold the event at
Santiago Canyon Colleges Town Hall on Thursday, Aug. 11. This will include lessons by safety
and emergency response experts to learn how to handle disasters such as wildfires, floods, and
earthquakes.

Who: U.S. Rep. Mimi Walters and 45th District Residents

What: Natural Disaster Preparedness Town Hall with Rep. Walters and members of Rep.
Walters staff will be available for anyone experiencing difficulties with a federal agency

When: Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Why: Learn the best ways to prevent and prepare for natural disasters that are prone to this area

Additional Information The town hall event is free and open to the public. Free parking
