 What do you think happened?
The edge of a roof height balcony was
protected by an inappropriate temporary
barrier protection. A man leant against the
barrier and it collapsed and he and the
barrier fell 8.1 metres down to the ground
oor below. He sustained multiple
fractures.

Never rely on a safety barrier it is there as a
safety measure, not as a rest.
