Lipman, Victor. "3 Reasons Employee Engagement Is Declining -- And How Managers Can

Improve It." Forbes. Forbes Magazine, 01 Feb. 2017. Web. 02 Feb. 2017.

This article speaks on three main reasons why Employee Engagement is declining, and how
badly it is hurting the business industry. The three reasons are as follows, Lack of Employee
Recognition, Lack of Transparency, and Disconnection from peers. The article then goes into
explain that these issues dont take much to fix, but managers and other high-ups just wont
comply, and they wonder what is harming their business. This is a very helpful source since it
provides so much different sets of data from survey results of employees who feel valued at work
to number of employees who feel management is not transparent enough.

Victor Lipman seems to be a very credible source in the field of employee engagement, and him
having years of experience in the corporate world helps his case greatly and adds to his wealth of
knowledge.
