Savings on fuel cost — By using spent wash as boiler fuel, distilleries
significantly save on fuel costs as each ton of concentrated spent
wash replaces approximately 335 kg of coal.

offers balanced solution for distillery's steam & power requirements.
Socio-environmental responsibilities — Distilleries can now function
without the fear of hazardous spent wash percolating into the
surroundings and polluting the environment. With almost zero
effluent discharge it is now possible to contribute positively to the
cause of environment conservation as well as fully comply with
pollution control regulations.
Moreover, since a large amount of water is recovered through
concentration of spent wash, the use of natural water is limited thus
assisting in retention of ground water. The ash generated from the
boiler has high Potash content and can be used to enhance fertility of
the soil.
