PROCEDURE IN MAKING DIFFERENT TYPES

OF POWER SUPPLY

HALF WAVE
USE 12-0 output of the transformer connect to 12v, the output of D1
is connected to the positive pin of C1 or C2 connected to 0, parallel by a
resistor.

FULL WAVE /CENTER TAP

USE 12-0-12 of the transformer connect D1 and D2 to 12v. the output
of D1 and D2 is connected to the positive pin of C1 while the negative pin
is connected to 0 parallel by a resistor.

BRIDGE
USE 12-12v of the transformer connect the D1, D2, D3 and D4 output
D1 and D3 is positive and D2 and D4 is negative. The positive output is
connected to the positive pin of C1. The negative output is connected to
the negative pin of the C1, parallel to a resistor.
DUAL VOLTAGE BRIDGE RECTIFIER CIRCUIT
Use the 12-0-12 of the transformer and connect it to the D1, D2,D3
and D4 to the 12-12 volts. The positive pin of the C1 is connected to the
negative output of the D2 and D4. And the negative pin of the C1 is
connected to the 0 parallel to the R6 the positive pin of the C2 is
connected to the output of the D1 and D2, and the negative pin is
connected to the positive of the C1 parallel to R7.

HALF WAVE VOLTAGE DOUBLER

Use the 12-0 of the transformer, 12 is connected to C3 and the
output is connected to the positive side of D2 and negative side of D1
while the positive side of the D1 is connected to 0 of the transformer.
The output of D1 is connected to the positive pin of C1. The negative pin
of C1 is connected to the 0, parallel to R4.
