The Sky, is Endless Dialog Did the building just vanished or did the sky grow larger than it was before? The beautiful scenery from the hill, presents the South Seas As | was really keen in panorama photography, these images were shot with wide angle lens, | stitched around 7 frames to get this panorama done. | love the texture of the gigantic rocks, the whites splashed of the raging waves, and the mist hanging on the horizon at the further end, they are all acted as the strong point to bring this image come down together. Colour and contrast usually get along together. It is however, to my eyes, a beautifully subtle scene, and would be a very different picture when shot in black and white Early Morning at Tanjung Papuma Beach, Jember, East Java, Indonesia Sunset at Changi Beach, Singapore The weather does not seem too promising at that time. How- ever, | caught sight of the thick clouds underly hence | knew that it would be ing the horizon uite impossible to capture a beautiful sunset due to the unfavorable weather. Nevertheless | proceeded with my trip as at times, unfavourable weather conditions could indeed turn out as an effective recipe to cap- ture good photographs. | doubled the grad ND filters stacked on my lens and | inserted the sunset filter as well. Though it was pretty much a long distance, | had to complete whatever that needs to be done. Afterall, the bottomline is all about how you make the best of the picture taken in order to effectively convey those qualities being portrayed in the image Red Church, Malacca, Malaysia Mindful of the unfavourable weather forecast for the past few days, that is, thunder and heavy rain, that did not stop me from capturing a shot of this Malacca's famous Dutch Square, and this main object focus for this photoshot was the Chirst Church. It was built in 1753, and it serves as a testimony to Dutch architectural ingenuity, And apparently, in the morning, everything comes together in a perfect bundle, encompassing white fluffy clouds, clear blue sky drowned in the scorching sun. The colorful umbrellas seems to blend along well with the surrounding buildings, and | knew that the picture will turn out great if it is able to be captured from a high level. Indeed, my predicament was right as with the wide angle perspective al- lowing the foreground to dominate, it certainly does bring out the image well, 6-77 z Morning Mist at Tanjung Papuma Beach, Jember, East Java, Indonesia | felt so much comforted and at ease after realizing that | made it there to the right place and at the right time. | climbed over the hill after swapping the shoreline but however, | failed to get the desired shot because of the thick mist moving to- wards me. However, almost immediately, | felt that it would be a wise decision to capture a shot from the hill top. The trace of mist which lies above the sea definitely adds to the beauty of the photoshot. In addition, the boats surrounding it make the picture look more dramatic, very similar to a fairy tale of the Majapahit Kingdom The surroundings slowly embraced the dark- ness with the lights under the CTE Bridge brightly lighting up the expressway. There is a period of about 5-10 minutes when a p fect balance is achieved which is an idea opportunity to seize in order to capture great night shots. However, if this timing is missed, it will be a little bit too late to cap- ture a nice shot as the sky will turn gloomy dark. The main enhancing factor which makes the photo looks great is the bold composition of the bridge, evidently show- casing the distinct two contrasting tone colours of the sky. This perspective empha- sizes the dramatic and unique sighting of the skyscrapers along the bridge Sunset at Tanjong Rhu, Singapore 83 2 Holga 120 GN kus 70 Coolpix 2600 Holga 120 CFN Loa D s00
