WWA Diversity Statement

At Volkswagen, we pride ourselves in striving to be a top company for diversity and

inclusion practices. We do this by not only being an equal opportunity employer, but

also by partnering up with different organizations that help show our commitment to our

employees and customers of different backgrounds. Some of these organizations are

the National Urban League and the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers.

With the goal of becoming one of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for in

America by 2018, as well as a Top 50 Company for Diversity, we commit ourselves

every day to making sure that our employees here at the Volkswagen Group of America

feel safe and well-represented. We have already received several recognitions for our

efforts, including but not limited to:

100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality

Index since 2010

52 percent of corporate giving in 2012 was designate to organizations that

benefit underserved communities.

Our ethical principles go right along with our diversity and inclusion mindset. We pride

ourselves at the Volkswagen Group of America in having a company that does not only
bring value to ourselves but every community that we touch. As we seek to be better

every day and improve our business plan, we try to balance our core principles and

values to make our company stand-out among the rest in order to achieve responsible

commercial success.

Our ethical principles are as followed:

HONESTY: We will be transparent in our dealings with the public as well as within our

company to our employees. We will openly share important information to the media as

it seems fit.

FAIRNESS: We will be reasonable and fair when it comes to crises that may occur. We

will make sure our wrong-doings are addressed in a way that fits all parties needs and

wants.

RESPECT FOR OTHERS: Along with our diversity and inclusion program, we will work

every day to make sure every member of the Volkswagen Group of America feels

comfortable and safe in their work environment.

INTEGRITY: We will not only attempt to live up to our ethics, but surpass them, even

when confronted by social risks and pressures from outside sources.
