Date: Jan. 7, 2017
Publication: TheTownTalk

The main purpose of this article was to describe a 17-year-old high school
students passion for making awareness of communication disorders. The
article states that she knows that she is very privileged that she is able to
communicate and use her ability to debate but she knows that many take
this for granted. She wanted to use her talent of debating to make
awareness of how some people do not have the abilities to see, smell, touch
or speak and say what we think. Knowing the impact that communication
disorders have on many people, she is not okay with just understanding the
effect it has on people so she using her voice to help those that are not able
to do so themselves. In her debates, she states statistics that estimate 10
percent of people are affected by communication disorders and only two
percent are diagnosed. She recognizes that this is a problem and that it
should be heard.

profession and need to be reminded of things. This book depicts the wide
variety of subjects this profession requires you to know. This book has been
updated from the other editions due to the fact that the main references
