I chose to do my project on an infographic because I like the organization to it. I originally
thought about making a video since my project is about YouTube but since I could incorporate a video into my infographic, I chose to do that. I also think that explaining a point is easier to do in an infographic than in a video. In a video, there are too many things to concentrate on like sound, visual, and content. The overall purpose of my infographic is to explain why communication with YouTube and its executives is important for the whole platform. Many users on YouTube may not know about these issues, and the point I was trying to get across was to inform them of it and possibly give a solution. The audience that I was trying to reach out to are people that use YouTube but do not know about the issues that are going on with the platform. I think that the infographic reaches out to my audience because it explains to them certain issues and provides a video from another fellow YouTuber to explain my argument in more detail. I feel that if the audience has something to connect to, then the point will come across much stronger.
