A. Objective :-
The objectives of the Lab were to simulate a liquid level control system with an electrically driven
pump and a pressure sensing liquid level transducer whose output corresponds with the level of water
in the liquid tank.

B. Equipments :-

Equipment's Name Equipment's No.

1. Liquid level controlled system 734 262
2. Reference variable generator 734 02
3. Immersion tube 734 876

Experiments with liquid level control system :-

1. Liquid level measurement.
2. Flow-rate measurement.
3. Automatic liquid level control.
4. Automatic flow-rate control.

C. Procedure :-
1. Set up the experiment arrangement .
2. Close valve V2 completely and fill ( control is performed via the reference
variable generator ) the tank to the levels specified in table 4.1 and note

Conclusion:
There is a linearly Proportional relationship between:

mm (liquid level) and V ( the voltage Which is represent the pressure

exerted on the floor of the tank) .

A Results:-

(P) Kp=2x1, (I) Tn=0.5x1, (D)

Tv=off

We notice :
1- Overshoot at 25 .

2- Oscillation.
3- The system looks like becoming stable ,but after a while ;because the peak
decreases with time.
(P) Kp=5x1, (I) Tn=0.5x1, (D)
Tv=off
We notice :
After the last graph , we increased Tn's value .
1 Lower overshoot compared with the 1st graph at 15.
2 The system will stable after a while; because the peak decreases with time and
the system is very close to the stable state.
