To whom it may concern,

I am writing to recommend Miss Megan Magee for a spot in your program. As her
supervising teacher in the third grade at C.A. Frost Environmental Academy, I have
had the privilege of working with and witnessing her in class, at Professional
Development, staff meetings, conferences, and other educational settings. She
shines in all of the above.

Megan has demonstrated her ability to interact with a wide range of students and
parents, bringing out their best. She is patient, and genuinely cares for her
students, supporting them every day. She dealt with some emotionally challenging
students this year. One in particular needed extra support, and Megan would
remain calm, talking to him as she guided him to regain his control. Megan also
supports her students outside of school, acting as scorekeeper for sporting events,
and attending their hockey, soccer, and basketball games.

Megan is a hard worker, coming in early each morning to prepare. She anticipates
classroom needs and takes care of them without my asking. I can count on
her to be thorough and efficient, as she engages learners using a variety of
techniques.

In closing, you will find Megan likable, funny, respectful, and intelligent. She
has been a wonderful asset and valuable member of our learning community at CA
Frost. She has shown her competency and caring attitude in the classroom and out.
Any school district would benefit, and be fortunate to have her as a part of their
staff. Miss Magee will truly be missed!
