To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation for Kayla Little.
Kayla was a student in three of my graduate-level special education courses in 2015 at the
University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Having taught and supervised many teachers
over the past 15 years, I believe that I can accurately assess the characteristics that comprise an
ideal special educator. With this in mind, you will be hard pressed to find a more qualified
applicant than Kayla.
Kayla is exceptionally bright, possesses intellectual curiosity, and has keen critical thinking skills.
While enrolled in my graduate courses, she excelled in demonstrating necessary special educator
competencies, including the ability create lesson plans, monitor student progress, and use
technology to present and deliver instruction. It is clear that Kayla has a strong commitment to
the profession and demonstrates a passion for excellence.
In sum, I highly recommend Kayla for your open position. Please feel free to contact me if you
have any questions, as I would be very happy to support her application in any way possible.
Sincerely,

Scott Kupferman, Ph.D.
