INTRODUCTION LETTER

2017-2018 School Year

Hi, my name is Paul Cappello and I will be working as a science teacher this year in
your child's classroom. I'm originally from a small farming community in a town called
Winterset, Iowa. Some of you may remember the movie "Bridges Over Madison
County" starring Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep, that is my hometown!

I have had my formal schooling at Des Moines Area Community College and Drake
University. Besides getting practical experience by teaching as a substitute teacher for
Comal County ISD, I have three teenagers whom I have had the opportunities to teach
at home.

Ive gained lots of experience teaching children ages of 5 to 18 years of age in music.
Ive owned and operated a very successful retail Music Center and School of Music for
over a decade.

I'm looking forward to this unique learning opportunity in your child's science classroom.
I will be working with the students in various capacities both in small and large
cooperative groups. I believe every child has the right to learn and get the most out of
my classes. I'm proud to work with your child this semester. I'll share the excitement
and enthusiasm I have for science and the world around us and how science and
biology plays a role in our daily lives.
