My Maestro written by Joshua Bell, reveals that the longer you spend
with someone, doing something you both enjoy, there is a way that you will
always be there. Bell started his music career at age 12, under the influence
of Josef Gingold. Gingold played the violin as a boy, but was discouraged by
his teacher who had damaged a nerve in his hand. But that didnt stop him
from doing what he loved. Gingold was the grandfather he didnt have.
When Josef Gingold died, it made Bell want to become a teacher and follow
in Gingolds footsteps.
