Dear Chamber Of Commerce,

Its been my absolute pleasure to have Kendra Beckenhauer in my Health Sciences

program for the last two years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching Kendra, and came to
know her as a responsible student. She is honest, dependable and incredibly hard-working.
Beyond that, Kendra has already accomplished many things in her high school career.

Kendra moved to the Hillsboro area and started at Glencoe High School as a freshman.
This change -although incredibly scary due to her not knowing any of the other students- caused
Kendra to grow in many different ways. Through the process of making new friends she has
developed a sense of confidence and self-worth, and is no longer afraid of meeting new people.
Because of the difficulties she faced Kendra has learned how to make friends with virtually
anyone, and has a friendly and outgoing personality. Along with the challenges of moving to a
new school she has always been consistent with her work ethic. Kendra has maintained a GPA
above a 3.7 while taking multiple AP and honors level courses. She is an active participant in
multiple clubs including Sparrow Club, National Honor Society, the National Society for High
School Scholars, and has recently joined Glencoes HOSA club. Kendra has played two years of
volleyball for Glencoe High School, and previously participated in the 4H program for the
Jackson County. While competing in 4H she won Reserve Champion for Western Equitation,
and has shown horses for the past seven years.

Along with her undeniable talent, Kendra has always been an absolute joy to teach. She is
a true team player, and always maintains a positive attitude, and brings out the best in her fellow
classmates. Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Kendra for an internship. As a dedicated
and knowledgeable student and an all-around great person, I know that she will be a beneficial
addition any program that she is offered.

Best wishes,
