Hello!

My name is Kelly Delisio and I am a third year Early

Childhood Education student at the University of Dayton. As part
of my clinical experience, I have been placed in Miss Mandys
classroom, where I am on Friday mornings from 9:00-11:30. I love
being in her classroom and I have already learned so much from
both the teachers and the children!
As part of my clinical experience, I will be engaging in a mini
science investigation with the children. The topic that I have
chosen for my investigation is Flowers, and I will primarily be
focusing on the parts/structure of flowers and the growth cycle of
flowers. I will plan and implement an introductory experience on
the topic, followed by two lessons. I plan on using authentic
materials and hands-on experiences to deepen the childrens
understanding of flowers. I look forward to working with your
children on this learning experience!
