PART-A
Answer all short answers questions briefly. Each question carries mark.

a) Define isometric axes and isometric line?


b) What is orthographic projection?
c) List types of perspective projections?
d) What is the difference between isometric view and isometric projection?
e) State third angle projection features?

3. A hexagonal plane of side 30mm lies on the GP with an edge parallel to and 10mm behind the
PP. the station point is 60mm in front of PP, 75mm above GP and lies in a CP which is 40mm
towards right of the center of the object. Draw its perspective view.

4. A cone is placed centrally on the top of a cube of 40mm side. The cone has its base diameter
30mm and axis 30mm. Draw isometric projection of the arrangement?

5. Draw a perspective view of a square plane side 50mm resting on the GP with one of its
corners touching PP on a side right to the corner inclined at 60 to it. The station point is 70mm
in front of PP, 65mm above GP and lies in a CP which is 35 mm towards right of the corner
touching the PP.

6. Draw the front view, top view and side view of the object whose isometric view is shown in
the figure below.
