Critical Consciousness: A Deep Understanding

During the first part of the presentation, I will begin by listing off my three genres chosen and

explaining why I chose them. I will then give a brief explanation of my topic and explain how it

applies to the topic. I will then list the constraints and affordances for each genre.

In the second slide, I will begin by defining and explaining social injustices. Examples from

history and current day events will be presented to better strengthen its relevance in society. I

will then talk about human behavior and how as humans we tend to signify with particular social

groups.

I will then continue to talking about those who are stigmatized and privileged in society; I plan to

relate it back to my audience in hopes of inspiring a call to action. Once the notion of injustice is

instilled into the audience, I plan to finish off by explaining what Critical Consciousness is and

how it can help combat social injustices.

I will then show the class my tri fold science experiment. I will go over main points such as

experiment conducted, the hypothesis, background research, and the conclusion.
