Descripcin: Nowadays, bilingual schools and bilingual teachers have found themselves
at the centre of a heated debate about the benefits of learning other subjects through
English. Is it positive to submit students to the pressure of studying of a non-native
language? Is it a matter of becoming proficient in the English language at all costs?
Some experts on the subject believe that second-language input must be comprehensible
in order for students to learn that language.
They state that the quality - not the quantity - of English-language exposure is the
primary factor in language acquisition. What is your personal opinion about the issue?
