Supported the construction of a new school replacing one 2016 EXPERIENCE demolished in the 2014 earthquake. Physically demanding job which included digging, grading, cleaning, erecting scaffolding, building temporary structures, pouring cement, and much more. Trained in tying rebar. Promoted to team leader two weeks into job. Attended leadership meetings. Responsible for the safety and effectiveness of volunteers. Encouraged a fun and engaging work environment.
