Bethany is a bright, personable young lady with a calm and welcoming demeanor in the classroom. Not only did she assume primary classroom responsibilities at Lebhart Elementary in a kindergarten classroom, but she also participates in building-wide activities such as IEP meetings and collaboration sessions. She has immediately built a strong rapport with her students, genuinely cares for them, and works tirelessly to grow them as learners. I was particularly impressed with the poise and compassion she brought to her work with certain students who present high needs. In my post-conference conversations with her, itis quite clear that Bethany is already deeply reflective in her professional practices and is growing as a teacher daily.
